AJBW OTBP Monthly Mixer

You down with OTBP?

Off the Beaten Path Ride (08/26/16) from Matt Smith on Vimeo.

Go OTBP with the AJBW crew!  OTBP (Off the Beaten Path) is our mixed surface ride held the last Friday of every month.  Along the 15ish-20ish mile route that varies slightly from month to month, you'll traverse paved roads, dirt and gravel roads, and even some grass.

Ride requirements:
-An appropriate bike in good working order, your emergency repair kit, a helmet, water bottles/hydration pack, front/rear lights, and any necessary nutritional items.
-Drop-bar bikes like cyclocross bikes, gravel bikes, touring bikes, or adventure bikes are the recommended weapon of choice.  Due to some rough areas along the route, we highly recommend running tires at least 32mm wide.  If you're willing to work a little harder, mountain bikes are OK.
-Speeds at any given time vary, but the typical average moving speed across the ride is 15ish mph.

Join us the last Friday of each month for a great time!

Good times roll from the store at 6:30pm sharp.

OTBP Gears & Beers Special

On some occasions, OTBP is a Gears & Beers special!  That means on the ride back in, we stop by one of the local breweries for a cold recovery drink, so make sure your lights are fully charged.   Also bring your ID and funds if you plan on making this pit stop.  If you prefer to keep rolling, there will be folks riding straight back to the shop.
We look forward to riding with you all the last Friday of this month, and every month!
